Pashupati Temple

The main building of Pashupati temple is two-storey which is built in about 400 square meters. Below the temple is the sanctum, in which the path has been closed after going down the stairs to three floors. Which is similar to the Pashupati temple temple in Nepal. Other idols located in the temple have been ruined by the Mughal invaders. The former name of Islampur was Pashupati Nagar, which has been later changed to Islampur after the Mughal invasion. It is 90 km away from district headquarter. It is situated at a distance of 3 km from Bundelkhand Expressway.
