Situated in Ramgarh Danda, situated in Hamirpur district, bordering Jhansi district, on the banks of the Dhasan river, there is a very ancient temple of Mother Mahakali in the fort of Ramgarh. This temple was built in 1138 AD by King Ramdev of Pratihar dynasty. Fair takes place. This is the main center of faith of the people of the area. The distance from the district headquarter is about 112 km. Rath is situated on Garautha road at a distance of 3 kms from village Kuchechha to the left.
