Shiv Mandir Jalalpur

A group of 108 temples dedicated to Lord Shiva adorned Jalalpur, which was called Choti Kashi in ancient times. Most of the temples have been destroyed due to lack of maintenance. But the Shivling of those who are left is of black granite. Panchmukhi Shivling is the specialty of Shiva temples. Here, on the banks of the Betwa river, there was a major center of business, Hanuman temple located on the pakke ghat, incense-watch etc. are the main features of this place. The distance from the district headquarters is 62 km and it is located on the Sarila road at 6 km from Rahatiya mode.
