This ancient temple is a rare specimen of Chandel period sculpture. The original temple was built about 1000 years ago with only stone stones. In this temple there are huge stone idols of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. The idols have been fragmented, the remains of many ancient idols have been found in the excavation here. A fair is held here every year on the new moon of Chaitra month. Distance from district headquarter is 67 km. It is situated at a distance of 8 km from Rahatiya Mode on Sarila road. This temple is situated 500 meters west of main road in Birwahi village (Bira) on Sarila Gohand road, 2 km north of Bundelkhand Expressway and 80 km from district headquarter.
